Great work today during our lesson. As always your PDF is attached for you to review.
For homework this week:
1.) Firstly here is a short Ted Talk all about the science behind making a good apology: https://www.ted.com/talks/ted_ed_the_best_way_to_apologize_according_to_science/c?language=en
2.) Write down any new words or phrases you see that you don’t understand or haven’t seen before.
3.) Take a look at this post about contrasting phrases: https://learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/grammar/b1-b2-grammar/contrasting-ideas-although-despite-others
Finally write a paragraph or two about a time you had to give an apology using as many new phrases as you can from the lesson today. In your opinion, what are the central strategies/characteristics of a good apology?
Have a good week and let me know if you have any questions or requests,
