Esercizio di inglese: il verbo “need”

Alcuni verbi in inglese vengono usati così spesso che diventano una parte essenziale della lingua. Il verbo “need” è realmente sia la frase idiomatica “avere bisogno di” che il verbo “dovere” nella lingua italiana. Siccome si tratta di questo vasto significato, ogni studente della lingua inglese ha bisogno di avere una padronanza di questa frase.

ESL Exercise: Need

“Need” is one of the most important verbs in the English language, as it has two primary meanings:

1. I need to go, I’m late! (Meaning: I must)
2. I need a break, this lesson is too difficult. (Meaning: I have a need, a necessity)

Use the verb “need” in its proper form with the verb in parentheses.

Example:

Question: I don’t know where my keys are! I _______________ for them (look)

Answer: I don’t know where my keys are! I need to look for them.
