What are relative pronouns?

We can use relative pronouns to specify who, who, or where we are talking about! These are some relative pronouns:

who
where
which
that

We can use “who” or “that” to talk about people.

Ex: She is the woman who helped me.
She is the woman that helped me.

We can use “which” or “that” to talk about things.

Ex: I have a computer which I use for work.
I have a computer that I use for work.

We can use “where” to talk about places.

Ex: That is the city where I studied at university.
