OPTIONAL: Writing Exercise: Imagine you are living in the late 19th century during a time of revolutionary inventions. Write a short paragraph (5-7 sentences) describing one of these groundbreaking inventions using the passive voice. You can choose an invention from the list below or select one of your own:
