Question 1 of 1
1. Question
ADVERTISEMENTS – CROWD – PHENOMENON – PRODUCT PLACEMENTS – SEAMLESSLY – THROWBACK – COMPELLING – DENY – HAS IN STORE – TRANSITIONED – WITNESSING – TRICKS – VENUES
- Several weeks into the (phenomenon) of producing television from your home, a few things are becoming clear: some shows have (transitioned) to this quarantined format better than others. Late night talk shows have adapted (seamlessly), in what feels like a (throwback) to earlier days of broadcasting, where hosts had to hold the viewer's attention without technology or special (tricks). However, we can’t (deny) that the hosts have missed having audiences and the energy they get from their laughter. Despite all this, the hosts have performed very well in this quarantined environment without a (crowd). In some cases, the conversations in (venues) like "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" -- where the host's dog has become an occasional co-star -- even feel more intimate and relaxed, as if we are (witnessing) a private chat between two famous people. This could be due, in part, to the fact there's less promotion involved, since (advertisements) and (product placements) are limited. The at-home approach is also (compelling) the hosts to reveal more of themselves -- and their families. The same goes for guests, such as Jason Bateman's young daughter who made an appearance this week during a show of "Jimmy Kimmel Live." We don’t know what the future (has in store) for television in these next few months, but frankly we wouldn’t mind if it continued like this.
Correct
Well done, my friend!
Incorrect
Not quite, better luck next time!
